Abstract
1385948 Driving arrangement and cover in open-end spinners SKF KUGELLAGERFABRIKEN GmbH 21 June 1972 [21 June 1971] 29117/72 Headings DID and DIN In an open-end spinning machine each spinning unit is pivoted to the machine frame at 14 and when raised by the toggle lever arrangement 8, 11 as in Fig. 2 the spinning rotor wharve 4 is disengaged from its driving belt 6 and may engage a brake pad 16. Similarly if the lid 1 is opened without first operating the toggle levers the opening motion of the lid pushes the toggle levers to the drive disengaging position, Fig. 3. With the toggle lever arrangement in the position of Fig. 2 the lid 1 may be opened to give access to the working parts. The drive to the opener wharve 5 and a clutch 17, 18 for the feed rolls are also disengaged by the above described operations.
