1385886 Reciprocating pumps TELEHOIST Ltd 23 Oct 1972 [28 Oct 1971] 50415/71 Heading F1A A swash-plate hydraulic pump has a cylinder block I with cylindrical bores 2 which are of constant diameter throughout and valve inserts 24 which are restrained solely by a spring 16 and an end-plate 3. To prevent any build-up of hydraulic fluid between the inserts 24 and the end-plate 3 an annular groove 39 is provided which communicates with the fluid space round the swash-plate 8 through a duct 40.
