Abstract

1383181 Bed settees HOOVER-SENG CO 13 Feb 1973 [6 April 1972 12 Oct 1972] 7019/73 Heading A4J A bed settee especially for use in motor vehicles comprises a seat 118 and a backrest 119, the backrest being connected at each side to a base frame 120 by two crossed-links 125, 126 such that the backrest is movable through about 275 degrees from a forwardly facing settee position to an upwardly facing horizontal bed position in front of the seat 118 which is pivotally connected at its front end to a fixed cross-bar 87a and supported towards its rear end on a roller 137 connected between the base frame 120 and cross-link 126 by links 132, 134, respectively, such that when the backrest is moved between the settee and bed positions the seat is moved from an inclined settee position to a horizontal bed position.
