Abstract
1382296 Mixing concrete ROBAKS MEKANISKA VERKSTAD BOSTROM & SONER 23 June 1972 [23 June 1971] 29619/72 Heading B1C [Also in Divisions B8 and G1] Mobile concrete mixing plant comprises at least the following separate interconnectable units, each mounted on one or more wheeled carriages to be movable individually or in pairs by a traction vehicle:-an aggregate weigher 1, a cement silo 2, a belt conveyer 3, and a concrete mixer 4, with a cement weighing vessel 22 arranged in connection with the discharge end of the aggregate weigher 1 for adding cement to the aggregate at the starting end of the conveyor 3, which is adapted to connect the aggregate weigher I with the concrete mixer 4. A control trailer 5 may also be provided, housing all controls, instruments, electrical switch gear and fuser for the plant. Two or more cement silos 2 may be grouped round the cement weighing vessel 22, each having an individual screw conveyer 38 thereto. The aggregate weigher, Fig. 4, has bins 16 with pneumatically operated outlet doors 17 mounted above a weighing conveyer belt 19 supported by chains from electronic load cells (not shown). Arms 23 on the end of the aggregate weigher support the cement weighing vessel 22 by means of chains from load cells. The vessel 22 has a pneumatically operated sliding door at its outlet 25. As shown in Fig. 10, the aggregate weigher 1 and the cement weigher 22 discharge onto the belt 26 of the conveyer unit 3, which is roofed to retain dust. A plough 34 with parallel wings 36 above the belt 26 ploughs the cement from the weigher 22. into the aggregate from the weigher 1. The cement silo 2, Fig. 7, has a container 39 pivoted at 48 to a carriage so that it can be moved by hydraulic jacks 51-between the operational position shown and a horizontal position (Fig. 6, not shown) in which its upper end can be supported by a second carriage (42) for transport. The cement mixer 4, Fig. 11, is mounted on an underframe 55 pivoted to carriages 57 which are movable by rams 62 from the transport position shown to the operational position (Fig. 12, not shown). The carriage(s) of each unit is/are provided with removable wheels, and with jacks and trestles for height adjustment and levelling.
