Abstract
1,128,501. Concrete mixing plant. WINGET Ltd. March 29, 1966 [March 31, 1965], No. 13613/65. Heading G1W. [Also in Division B1] A mobile concrete batching plant comprises a wheeled trailer chassis 1 with an electricallydriven annular pan mixer 4 mounted on a runway 6 inclined at 30 degrees, for movement by hydraulic jacks 6A between a lower, charging position and an upper, discharging position. Cement is supplied from a silo 18 by a screw conveyer 20 and a weigh hopper 19; sand and aggregate by a pair of endless bucket conveyers as at 9 and weigh hoppers 7 with hydraulically operated discharge doors 8; water is metered from a tank 25, Fig. 2 (not shown). The chassis may be raised in jacks (1A, Fig. 1 not shown). The bucket conveyers are pivoted to the chassis at 16 to seep an arc Fig. 4 (not shown). In transportation the cement silo and screw conveyer may be loaded on the towing vehicle. A controller 26 with extension hand-held push-button control (not depicted) enables all operations to be initiated by a single operator and provides automatic recycling of the weighing cycle if required.
