Abstract
1381013 Edge-runner mills LOESCHE HARTZERKLEINERUNGS-UND ZEMENTMASOHINEN KG 22 May 1972 [11 June 1971] 23900/72 Heading B2A An edge-runner mill comprises a rotatable grinding table 7, Fig. 1, and pivotally-mounted rolls 6 adapted to roll on the table each roll 6 'being individually journalled in a separate support 1. The supports are interconnected by interposed connecting pieces 2 and the supports and connecting pieces are of box section so as to form a ring resistant to torsional forces. The ring may be arranged as a hot-gas duct. Each roller 6 is movable upwards by actuation of an hydraulic piston and cylinder arrangement 11, 12, 18, Fig. 2. The connecting pieces 2 may each include an angled plate 31 which permits discharge of tramp material via an opening 35 and door 36, Fig. 7.
