Abstract

1377012 Stud and socket fastenings HEBERLEIN & CO AG 22 Sept 1972 [8 Sept 1972] 43973/72 Heading E2B [Also in Division H1] A mounting member for supporting a printed circuit board on a casing, the member encompassing an adjusting shaft of an adjustable circuit element 13, e.g. a potentiometer, on the board comprises a tube I having a threaded top portion 2, a rectangular mid portion 3 and an annular bottom portion 4 with transversely extending lugs 5, 5', a separate ring member 6 cooperating with the rectangular mid portion and including a pair of feet 9 extending axially from the member 6. The element 13 is secured to the board 12 and the lugs 5, 5' entered into a hole in the board and rotated to secure the tube to the board. The ring is placed over the mid portion and feet 9 entered into the board hole, preventing rotation of the tube. The top portion 2 is passed through an aperture in a casing 14 and secured with a nut 17, the interior of the casing including a flange 20 engaging the ring member. Ribs 10 on the interior of the ring member engage the tube mid portion.
