Abstract

1375777 Stud and socket fastenings SOCAPEX 12 May 1972 [14 May 1971] 22553/72 Heading E2B [Also in Division H2] A fixing device for a connector 1 comprises a V-shaped structure of the same material as the connector body having a first branch 15 fixed perpendicularly to the connector and a second branch 18 joined to the first by an elastic joint 19. As the device is inserted through a hole 16 in a mounting panel, branch 18 flexes at the joint 19 to the dotted position 21. When the connector is in place, branch 18 reverts to the undeflected position to lock the connector in position. The device may be circular in cross-section, Fig. 3 (not shown).
