Abstract
1373585 Isolating switches ALLMANNASVENSKA ELEKTRISKA AB 11 Feb 1972 [12 Feb 1971] 6422/72 Heading H1N In an isolating switch of the pantograph type, the fixed contact comprises one or more elongated contact members 7 suspended vertically from an overhead line 8 and is gripped between two horizontal contact bars 5, 6 carried by the pantograph 1, 2. The or each member 7 may comprise a bar on which three copper strips are attached, Fig. 2 (not shown). The bars 5, 6 may be carried on the upper links of the pantograph below the top pivots 3, 4, Figs. 3, 4 (not shown), in which ease the fixed contact may be surrounded by a corona ring, the supporting arms of which guide the upper links of the pantograph as the contacts are closed, Figs. 5 to 7 (not shown).
