1372355 Milking parlours M R LOLE 24 Jan 1972 [24 Oct 1970] 50603/70 Heading AIM The inlet gates 6, 7 to a milking parlour are operated in response to a photo-electric, weight sensing or proximity sensing counter to admit a predetermined number of cows at a time to the rows of stalls 1, 2. The electrified bar 19, inlet gates 6, 7, crush bars 16, insecticide sprays, milking apparatus and exit gates 9, 10 are operated automatically in sequence to milk batches of cows in each row of stalls, the sequence in each row being initiated by the manual actuation of the corresponding exit gate to let the preceding milked batch out.
