1370507 Torque release adapter D C WOODCRAFT 27 July 1972 35155/72 Heading B3N A torque release adapter comprises a receptacle 10 with a shaft 40 mounted therein the shaft is drivingly connected to an annular disc by balls 46 which allow axial movement of said disc; the disc drivingly engages the receptacle through balls b which seat in recesses 36 and 30. Loading is by dished spring washers 56 acting through a roller bearing assembly 60. Adjustment of load is by cap 14.
