1369634 Chimney cowls J J DOYLE 18 Oct 1971 [19 Oct 1970 19 Jan 1971] 48257/71 Heading F4J A chimney cowl comprises an open-ended cylindrical casing 2 attached to the flue 1 by equally spaced plates 6 and a cylindrical shield 3 closed at the top and attached to the casing 2 by plates 7 so as to be coaxial with the flue. The adjacent ends of the flue and the shield are formed with flanges 4 and 5 and a protective wire grill 8 covers the casing.
