1369467 Undergarment GANZONI & CIE SA 1 Dec 1971 [8 Dec 1970] 55830/71 Heading A3V [Also in Division A5] An undergarment comprises underpants 1 of knitted material having elastic threads worked into the network of stitches and a body belt 3 of elastic woven fabric attached to the upper edge of the underpants, the body belt being wide enough to cover at least part of the lumbar regions and abdomen of a wearer. The elastic threads in the underpants may be of natural or synthetic rubber or elastomeric material, optionally with the threads of fabric or plastics spun thereover, and preferably the body belt is elastic only in the circumferential direction of a wearer. The underpants have a single or double insert 5 and may have long legs as at 6.
