136,945. Lassen, J. J. Jan. 28. 1919. Indicating by weight of liquid; indicators actuated by floats.-A feed-water tank B, Fig. 3, disposed inside a steam generator or inside a chamber connected to the steam generator, is provided with a V-shaped or other outlet B' and with means for indicating and recording the water level and consequently the rate of flow of the feed water. The means may consist of a float-operated indicator or recorder, or a vessel F connected to the tank B by flexible piping and suspended from a spring or weight controlled lever G, connected to a diaphragm J forming the lower wall of a vessel containing liquid and connected to an indicator or recorder L.
