Abstract

1368384 Open-end spinner with provision for rotor cleaning ZINSER-TEXTILMASCHINEN GmbH 30 Nov 1972 [30 Nov 1971] 55244/72 Headings DID and D1F In an open-end spinning machine a nozzle 19 is provided to clean the fibre collecting groove 20. An air outlet is provided in the rotor 9 the inlet mouth 22 of which lies annularly about the rotor axis. As shown the rotor comprises two parts 24 and 25 joined by pins 27 a space between the parts providing the outlet 23. The cleaning jet 19 may be activated automaticaly during a piecing operation.
