Abstract

1368089 Shelving D C BUCHANAN 8 Aug 1972 [28 July 1971] 35368/71 Heading A4B A U-section shelf bracket is provided in one limb with a pair of tongues 10 for engagement in slots 8 in an upright 7 and includes an outwardly projecting platform 11 for supporting an end of a shelf or the like, the configuration of tongues 10 and platform 11 being such that the bracket 9 is also capable of being secured to the upright 7 in an inverted position. The platform 11 may be disposed at one end or intermediate the ends of the bracket and be integral with the body of the bracket or may be a separate member secured thereto. The platform 11 may carry a rubber stud 12 to support a glass shelf. In another embodiment Fig. 4, (not shown) the platform comprises a tubular projection (14) which may support a clothes hanging rod.
