Abstract

1365390 Fence posts J H HALL 20 Oct 1971 [23 Oct 1970] 48709/71 Heading E1B A fence post of rigid polypropylene plastics comprises a body part 2 with oppositely disposed wire receiving slots formed in a pair of parallel flanges, a ground engaging spike 3, a portion 12 of which engages within the post and may be secured by adhesive; and a cap 4 which has three angle section projections to engage in the top of the post. The posts generally form intermediate fence posts between strainer posts, the wires being strained after the posts have been erected and the wires inserted in the slots. The strainer posts may be larger posts of the same shape and material or they may be concrete sheeted with plastics. A gate may comprise the above posts according with wire mesh attached therebetween.
