Abstract

1365125 Incinerators EBARA INFILCO KK 10 Aug 1971 [18 Aug 1970 19 Aug 1970 21 Oct 1970 16 Feb 1971] 37529/71 Heading F4B Apparatus for disposing of refuse comprises a drying section 1 having a refuse charging port 23, a waste gas exhaust port 24 and a heated gas blasting port 25; a gasifying section 2 having a high temperature high-humidity air blasting port 26; and an incinerating section having a waste gas exhaust port 33, a refractory wall 29 with a high-temperature air-blasting port 32 and a residual exhaust port 30 leading into a watersealed clinker tray 31. The method is characterized in that the gases produced in the gasifying step are guided through the drying step and after disposing of harmful components in a dephlegmator 6 and re-heated in a heat-exchanger 5, are again guided to the drying step through inlet 25; while part of the exhaust gases produced in the incinerating step 3 are utilized in the gasifying step 2, with the remainder guided out 17 so as to heat incoming air 18, the heated air being fed partly to the incinerating step and partly to the gasifying step.
