Abstract
1363115 Coupling ships J E MARRINER 27 Oct 1971 [12 Nov 1970] 49983/71 Heading B7S Coupling assemblies A between two marine craft such as P and B1 each comprise a post 10 having an elongated body of resilient material and cap members 22, 24 secured one at each end. The post extends horizontally and longitudinally between the craft and each end is received by a socket on the facing bow and stern portions of the craft, the body of resilient material bridging the gap between the vessels. In the embodiment described each cap member is of steel and has a hemispherical end knob and the four posts connecting each pair of adjacent craft can be locked by fluid-actuated horizontal latch bar 50, Fig. 6 (not shown).
