Abstract

1362840 Mixing E PICHIN and L CONZ [trading as COSTRUZIONI MECCANICHE COSMEC DI PIGHIN E CONZ SNC] 7 Oct 1971 [15 Oct 1970] 46819/71 Heading B1C [Also in Division F4] A machine for producing ice cream comprises a screw 2, means for atomising liquid to be frozen in an air current and a head 11 having an ice cream outlet nozzle 12, the screw 2 being extractable from a casing 1 after removal of the head 11. Liquid from a tank 13 is fed to an impeller 7, air flowing through a duct 15 and the resultant mixture is frozen within a chamber 3 by a refrigeration circuit 4-6, prior to delivery to a container 18 by the screw 2. Nuts 34 hold the head 11 on screwed pins 33 of the housing 1, the screw 2 and impeller 7 being driven together by a releasable coupling 10, Figs. 2, 3 (not shown), the screw 2 may be horizontally disposed.
