Abstract
1362158 Stud and socket fastenings J H J SEEGER 1 June 1973 [3 June 1972] 26335/73 Heading E2B A device for disconnectably coupling together two members 1, 2 comprises a pin 3 capable of rotating about its longitudinal axis and which is adapted to pass through two aligned apertures 10, 11, one in each member, in a manner such that it engages a face of the member 1, a holder member 5 adapted to engage a face of the member 2 which face is remote from the said face of the member 1 and to positively retain the free end of the pin, and retaining means 4 adapted to engage of surface of the member 2, which surface is adjacent the member 1 and to extend toward the member 5. The means 4 includes at least one retaining member 16 adapted to be moved towards the member 5 the or each member 16 including a plurality of aligned surfaces 18 for positively engaging the member 5. As shown, the member 5 is provided with spring tongues 13 which engage in notches 9 of the pin 3 and the means 4 comprises two retaining members 16, 17 each provided with a series of pressed out flaps 18; the latter engage notches 19 on the periphery of an aperture 12 in the member 5 or, alternatively, outside edges of the member.
