Abstract
1361980 Textile printing CIBA-GEIGY AG 30 Dec 1971 [31 Dec 1970] 60750/71 Heading D1B Prints and colour resists are obtained on naphtholated cellulose material by printing the material with one or more pastes containing a) 10 to 100g/kg of paste of a highly reactive dyestuff as defined b) 10 to 40 g/kg of an inorganic reducing agent optionally the material is then overprinted in full width with a paste containing a diazonium salt, the dyes being developed by a heat treatment e.g. steaming, hot drying and thermofixing. The preferred substrate is cotton and potassium sulphite and sodium bisulphite are preferred reducing agents.
