Abstract
1352560 Vesicular materials XIDEX CORP 7 July 1971 [17 July 1970] 31990/71 Heading G2C A vesicular material comprises a support coated with a layer containing a polymeric binder in which is dispersed a light-decomposable compound and a fluorocarbon surfactant. The light-decomposable compound is preferably a diazonium compound and the binder is preferably a polyhydroxyether of an epihalohydrin and a dihydric phenol as disclosed in Specification 1330344. The fluorocarbons may be of formulae: where n is 4-50, x and y are greater than 1 and x + y is 4-50 and X is a hydrophilic radical. The material is compared with other materials containing saporin, ethylene oxide modified castor oil or disodium ethoxylated nonyl phenol half ester of sulphosuccinic acid as surfactants and produces an image of greater resolution.
