1351673 Furniture combinations; cabinet beds PRICE BROS & CO Ltd 1 Aug 1972 [13 Aug 1971] 38221/71 Headings A4H and A4J A bed unit comprises an upright free-standing cupboard or wardrobe (1) resting on castors (19) and having a vertically elongate recess (4) in one side in which a bed frame (6) is stowed when not in use. the bed frame being pivotally attached to the cupboard at or near the bottom of the recess for rocking movement about a horizontal axis (8) between the stowed position and a position of use extending horizontally outwardly from the recess, the cupboard including a stowage space accessible from an open side opposite the recess. The stowage space may include shelves (2) and a bottom hinged flap (3). The bed is supported in its position of use by a hinged leg member (9).
