1351662 Friction hinges G & S ALLGOOD Ltd 18 Oct 1972 [5 Nov 1971] 51470/71 Heading E2F A friction hinge comprises two parts 10, 11 pivotable about pin 23, and a friction pad 30 biassed by spring 31 against a partcylindrical outer surface of lug 15. The pin 23 is screwed into lug 16 and the part 11 has two side flaps 17, 18 between which an article to be hinged can be clamped.
