Abstract
1348790 Continuous casting CONCAST AG 17 Dec 1971 [18 Dec 1970] 58875/71 Heading B3F [Also in Division F4] A cast iron cover, for a tundish or holding vessel associated with a continuous casting plant, is cast around one or more steel bars which may project from the rim of the cover to serve as lifting pins therefor. The bars may be of H- section offset from the neutral line of the cover, or may have bores for the passage of coolant.
