Abstract

1347485 Friction clutches AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS Ltd 23 June 1971 [2 July 1970] 32168/70 Heading F2C In a diaphragm-spring friction clutch the spring 57 is fulcrumed between rings 59 and 61 supported on projections 58 of the clutch cover 45. These projections may be formed on the opposite side of the cover from the presser plate, part of which projects through apertures in the cover to be engaged by the spring, supported on the outside of the cover by the projections. The presser plate 49 is attached to the cover by resilient metal straps.
