Abstract

1346976 Washing vehicle windscreen and other surfaces G O ERB 6 Nov 1972 [6 Nov 1971] 51111/72 Heading A4F [Also in Division B7] A vehicle windscreen or other surface 20 is washed by a jet 14 of washing liquid which passes through an artificially created magnetic field the flux lines of which cross the jet approximately perpendicularly. The magnetic field may be produced by opposite poles 16, 17 of two permanent magnets or of a single permanent magnet 30 or 30', Figs. 2 to 5, (not shown), attached to a spray nozzle (32) emitting a flat jet of washing liquid. Alternatively the magnetic field may be provided by electromagnets.
