Abstract

1346099 Absorption refrigerators ELECTROLUX Ltd 24 July 1972 [14 July 1971] 33070/71 Heading F4H A gas-flame operated absorption refrigerator, particularly for use in a caravan, comprises a burner disposed within a burner compartment 4, and a flue 5 mounted within a casing 3 containing thermal insulation and a boiler (not shown). Combustion air enters the compartment 4 through at least one rectangular aperture in the wall of the compartment, each aperture being covered by two closely adjacent layers of metal gauze or other perforated material. The outlet of the flue 5 is covered by a cap 11 made up of similar adjacent layers of metal gauze. The size of each perforation is preferably 0À5 mm.
