Abstract

1278149 Vapour burners; oil stoves V GLUTZ-BLOTZHHEIM NACHFOLGER AG 12 June 1970 [21 Aug 1969] 28524/70 Headings F4T and F4W An oil stove includes a vaporizing chamber 2 which is rectangular in horizontal cross-section, the upper portion of the chamber walls forming a sealing plate 4 in sealing engagement with the stove casing 1, the chamber bottom 5 being suspended above a substantially flat air baffle plate 6 having two longitudinal rows of air holes, not shown, and the chamber walls being bent to form a re-entrant portion, the crosssectional area of the residual neck opening so formed being smaller than the area either of the chamber bottom 5 or of the sealing plate 4, see Fig. 2. The chamber 2 is provided with air holes 10 the longitudinal spacing of which is the same as the spacing of the air holes in the baffle plate, air being supplied to a conduit below the baffle by a blower 8 or an air limiting device 9. The chamber and sealing plate are preferably formed from a single piece of material.
