Abstract

1345458 Drawer and shell cartons SCHOLL (UK) Ltd 21 June 1972 [19 July 1971] 29096/72 Heading B8P A drawer and shell carton, which may contain shoes, has an end wall 7 at one end of the shell, a window 9 in the top of the shell and a handle 10 or handhole 11 and/or a finger hole 12 in the tray. A hole 8 in the end wall 7 allows air to escape as the carton is closed. The double thickness of side walls permits boxes to support a stack without deforming. The window has a transparent covering. The end wall 7 is formed of flaps extending from the sides or from the top or bottom and permanently secured together or may be in the form of interlocking flaps so that the shell can be collapsed flat.
