Abstract

1344946 Endless chain bucket-carrying conveyers ORENSTEIN & KOPPEL AG 10 Jan 1972 [9 Jan 1971] 1111/72 Heading B8A The leading, transverse, material-engaging edge of buckets 3 of an endless conveyer 1, lies peripherally beyond the bucket-carrying chains 23 in the area in which the conveyer picks up material (bottom of Fig. 1), but lies peripherally within the chains 23 in the vicinity of sprockets 15 over which the chains flex to empty the buckets. The material is discharged on to a turntable 27 from which it is deflected by a scraper 29 so as to fall on to a conveyer belt 28. The conveyer 1 is rotatable about its vertical axis, and about a horizontal axis 10.
