Abstract

1343531 Terminal blocks HARVEY HUBBELL Inc 11 Jan 1971 1331/71 Heading H2E [Also in Division E2] A terminal block mounting rack comprises a U-shaped channel 14 against each side of which a stamped sheet metal plate 24 is retained by lugs 31, 39 in apertures 33, 40 in the channel. The plates 24 have flanges 28 which divide up the channel into compartments for a plurality of terminal blocks. The blocks 47 have abutments 49 and 54 which are engaged by tines 56a and 60a to respectively lock and centre the block in its compartment. The tines 56a, 60a also serve to cushion the block against shocks. A removal tool is provided for the blocks having two sheet metal prongs which may be slid in on either side of the block 47 between the wall 48 and the tine 56a to disengage the tine from the abutment 49.
