Abstract

1343995 Latches INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 30 Sept 1971 [8 Oct 1970] 45536/71 Heading E2A [Also in Division H1] Circuit card edge connectors 19, cable terminal blocks 20 &c are supported in a rack (Fig. 1 not shown) by angles 22 having impressions 23 which engage teeth 13 of strips 12. The teeth stand up from rails 8 at an obtuse angle, the impressions 23 corresponding in shape, slope and distance. To remove the edge connectors or terminal boards &c metal strips are inserted between strips 12 and angles 22, the inserted metal strips lifting the teeth 13 out of impression 23. Tongues 15 in strip 12 (see Fig 3 not shown) help to secure the strips to rails 8.
