Abstract
1,231,355. Automatic proportioners. E. P MARBACH 6 Oct., 1969 [15 Oct., 1968], No. 48957/69. Heading B1X. An automatic proportioner comprises a main housing 11 incorporating a syringe 14 and a releasably mounted sub-assembly 60 which includes a valve 31 operable by fluid pressure signals transmitted through conduits 40, 41 from a source thereof, (not shown) to selectively communicate a conduit 24 from the syringe with a port 33 having a conduit 28 and a pipette 90 for sampling purposes or a port 34 having a conduit 29 extending into a receptacle 61 for a reagent. Conduits 40, 41 are releasably connected to sub-assembly 60 and conduit 24 is releasably connected to the syringe 14.
