1,231,349. Reversing. MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURGNURNBERG A.G. Dec.2, 1969 [Dec. 4, 1968], No.58904/69. Heading F1K. A camshaft in a reversible four-stroke cycle internal-combustion engine incorporates three cams 2, 3, 4 per engine cylinder which are arranged to control the inlet and exhaust valves, the central cam 3 acting either as an exhaust cam or as an inlet cam in dependence upon the direction of rotation of the engine. As shown the camshaft may incorporate two fuel pump cams 13, 14.
