Abstract

1,224,809. Window control mechanism. TENSATOR Ltd. 21 Oct., 1969 [8 Nov., 1968], No. 53106/68. Addition to 828,358. Heading E2M. A vehicle door window has a pane 10 which slides vertically between conventional seals 13, 14, and which is held in a raised position by coiled spring 15 which is secured by rivet 19 to the door. The H-section mounting 17, moulded from plastics material, grips pane 10 with channel 23, and straddles spring 15 with channel 22 to retain the spring beneath the pane. Mounting 17 may be formed from extruded section. Two or more springs 15 may be used, in combination with seperate mountings or a single mounting.
