A device for amplifying and transducing the signals of electric musical instruments comprises two earpieces 24 (Fig. 3). Carried by one or both earpieces are an amplifier 17, a transducer 21 connected to the output of the amplifier 17, a battery 15 and a socket 18 to connect the amplifier 17 with the electric musical instrument. The earpieces 24 are acoustically insulated against the exterior. Several sockets 18 may be provided. Preferably each earpiece carries a battery 15 and a transducer 21. The amplifier 17 may comprise three transistorized stages (Fig. 1, not shown), or an integrated circuit (Fig. 2, not shown).
