[Also in Division F2] A conveyer roller consists of separate end units each comprising a flanged bush or stub shaft 3 mounted in a bearing 1 and secured by a key 9 to the hub 8 of an end disc 7 detachably secured by bolts 12 to a ring 11 welded to the roller shell 10. The members 3 may be connected by a non-torque-transmitting shaft 5 to resist transverse bending. The flanges 4 of member 3 may be connected to a drive gear.
