Abstract

1,218,860. Releasable fastenings. HAWKER SIDDELEY AVIATION Ltd. 23 Dec., 1969 [23 Dec., 1968], No. 61127/68. Heading E2A. [Also in Division B8] Loads are secured to a load support 24, Fig. 4, by a cruciform net Fig. 1, of elastic material which is secured to the support by fasteners 15 and subsequently tightened over the load by attaching snap hooks 17 to points on the net closer to its centre. Snap hooks 18 are also provided for closing the sides of the net. The outer portions 13 of the net are made from stronger cords. (For Figures see next page)
