Abstract

1,217,470. Cable clips. SOC. DITE MECANOSER, SOC. D'EXPLOITATION DE PROCEDES DE SERTISSAGE ET D'APPLICATIONS MECANIQUES (S.A.) 15 May, 1969 [17 May, 1968], No. 24796/69. Heading E2B. A retaining strap for cables and the like comprises a flexible toothed strip 1 made of plastics, having at one end a collar 2 through which the other end portion of the strip passes, and a retaining element 3 slidable in the collar and with teeth which cooperate with the teeth 5 on the strip to retain the strap in position. The aperture in the collar diverges and the inner surface of the collar has a stepped portion to cooperate with a laterally grooved and transversely ribbed surface of the retaining element to guide and limit movement of the element in the collar. The tongue 10 of the strap has an aperture for attaching the strap to a support.
