A resilient clip 10 comprises a substantially U-shaped member in which one of the limbs 11 is formed with means 16a for engaging a panel edge and in which the other limb is formed with an external projection 21 and a part-cylindrical cable or rod-engaging portion 19 between the projection 21 and the free end of the limb, a tongue 18 being sheared from the portion and adapted to retain the cable or rod in the portion 19.
