Abstract
1,215,462. Scaffolding. MILLS SCAFFOLD CO. Ltd. 23 Feb., 1968 [28 Feb., 1967], No. 9334/67. Heading E1S. '[Also in Division F2] Scaffolding consisting of cross-braced uprights 11 is levelled using frames 10a, which may be similar to those used horizontally at a higher level, in co-operation with corner members 15 having lower tubular portions 23 into which screw bases 14 are spigoted, upper tubular portions 24 to receive the uprights, and dovetail projections 12a over which the ends 13 of the levelling frame 10a, which have corresponding formations, are seated. The structure shown 'in Fig. 2 and comprising the levelling frame, the corner members, and the screw bases is levelled before the uprights 11 are inserted into the corner members 15 and clamped by screws 26.
