Abstract

1,209,258. Electric couplings. HEAD BRAIDING Ltd. and J. H. COPE. 16 June, 1969 [17 June, 1968], No. 28693/68. Heading H2E. A woven or braided conductor is prepared for connection by separating the wires to form two groups 2 which rejoin in a single braid at 3. The conductor is then shaped in a press and flattened into the form of a washer to produce a fixing hole 4, which may be made at any point along the conductor length. The wires may be soldered or brazed together around the hole or an eyelet or washer may be added.
