Abstract

1,202,991. Creels. SINGER CO. 25 June, 1968 [7 July, 1967], No. 30204/68. Headings DIG, D1M and D1J. A creel comprises a series of modular ends made up of uprights 10 connected by crosspieces 12 and having cone supports 16, so joined together that the cone supports at either end of a section face each other. The sides of each section are free of obstruction so that the cones may be reached from the sides of the creel or aisles. A two 'topped and tailed' cones are mounted on each support, and the thread guided to the machine up the inside of the opposite upright 14. Each section may also comprise a smaller top tier.
