Abstract

1,202,658. Adjustable arm-chair. A. E. MOOSER. 12 June, 1969 [14 June, 1968], No. 29879/69. Heading A4J. The seat is pivoted at 2 to a frame 1 and to the back-rest member at 4. The latter member is pivoted at 6 to a link 7 which in turn is pivoted at 8 to the frame. A locking device retains the parts in adjusted position and as shown comprises telescopic members 15, 17 locked by handle 19. Arms 11 are on a parallel linkage with respect to seat 3. Several different arrangements of the locking device are disclosed.
