Abstract

1,202,139. Developing electrostatic images. RICOH K.K. May 20, 1969 No.25654/69. Heading G2H. Toner 8 is added to a carrier liquid 7 by a container 5, a voltage from a source 9 being applied across the container 5 and a conductive developing roller 2, such that the toner is positively charged and is electrostatically attracted to a latent image 12 on a copy sheet 10 to form a visible image 13. The roller 2 has a corrugated surface 3.
