Abstract

1,200,050. Stud and socket fastenings. DZUS FASTENER CO. Inc. 19 May, 1969, No. 25462/69. Heading E2B. [Also in Division F2] A stud fastener assembly comprises a headed shank 5 which is anchored to a supporting panel 14 by a tubular cup with an opening at each end, one end being flared, to engage the periphery of an opening in the panel, a spring 0 surrounds the shank and abuts a flange 8 of the head of the shank at one end and a shoulder of the cup at the other end and a circlip 16 engages the head to retain the stud within the cup. The stud is rotated to engage a helical slot therein with a rod 18 of a receptacle 17.
