Abstract

1299525 Delivering sheets VEREINIGTE FLUGTECHNISCHE WERKE - FOKKER GmbH 27 Feb 1970 [28 Feb 1969] 9710/70 Heading B8R Sheets are delivered to a selected one of a series of stacking shafts 4, according to the position of diverter flaps 7, provided with downwardly directed air nozzles to aid the entry of sheets into the shafts. Sheets entering the shafts are intercepted by descending support members 9, and when a predetermined number of sheets have been received in any one shaft the members 9 are withdrawn to permit the stack to drop on to take-away conveyer 10. As the members 9 descend a second set of such members are moved upwardly but withdrawn from the shaft. As the members 9 are with drawn to permit stack removal the second set is introduced at the top of the shaft.
