1298102 Amine-lactam addition products INVENTA AG 18 March 1970 [20 March 1969] 13045/70 Heading C2C Compounds of the general Formula I where n is an integer from 5 to 11, R1 is a C 1-4 alkyl radical and R 2 is a bivalent aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon radical which may be interrupted by ether, thioether and/or secondary or tertiary amino bridges are prepared by reacting an N-alkyl lactam of formula (or a mixture of such lactams) with a polyamine of formula H 2 N-R 2 -NH 2 (or a mixture) at above 200 C., and in which process the reaction mixture always contains at least one mol of polyamine per mol of lactam that has reacted. Compounds of Formula I are claimed per se in 1,235,805.
